Megan's Movie Review:
OH my! I LOVED THIS MOVIE! This is totally a classic Disney movie but all animated instead of a cartoon. Ya know what I mean? Anyways, this movie was fabulous! I felt like a little girl again haha! I can't believe it's taken me this long to see it. It was funny, the romance was great, the storyline was awesome. The ending perfect. I loved the lantern thing. I just thought that was so cute! Rapunzel was beautiful and Flynn was handsome. lol My favorite character was the chameleon. He was adorable and I want one for myself! This movie is great for children, especially little girls and it's even funny for adults. The horse character was hilarious too. He was so funny acting all tough and cool. After I watched this movie I wanted to watch it again. It really was just your typical Disney Princess movie. But up to date and better!

5 stars right??!

Megan's Movie Review:
Okay, so we bought this movie when it came out on dvd a while ago and watched it and all I can remember is that I didn't like it. I must have been in a bad mood or something, because we just watched it again last night and I absolutely LOVED it!! Shia LaBeouf is soo funny in this and I didn't realized how many big actors there were in this movie. There were so many funny parts in this movie and if you listen to everything, it really is quite a hoot. Some of the sayings I liked were "Pecker face?..." or "He's a dirty trash can filled with poo." I can't believe that I didn't enjoy it the first time. Great movie, loved it! I'm so glad that we have it haha and I think this will be a good movie for our kids. It's a good story about how to never give up and to follow your dreams. Have confidence in yourself!

You should see this if you haven't yet.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

Stars:
3 3/4 stars

On his way to finding a legend...he will become one.

Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie's, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga'Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie's. The film is based on the first three books in the series. (Source: IMDB)

Starring: Jim Sturgess
Released: 2010

Megan's Movie Review:
Well this movie wasn't what I expected. I thought from the previews that you would be able to tell what happens in the movie, and I was wrong. I thought, this little owl has these heroes that he admires, and he would eventually find them and they would be evil and ruin his whole perspective on them. That's not the case. It is such a cute story and I really liked it and want it for my children to watch. The story was great and it had a little twist that I didn't expect. The owls were so cute I wanted them for myself. This story was good for children because it taught them to have dreams and to not doubt yourself. It also teaches them to love their family no matter what and to fight for your family. I really liked it, good movie! I know this is based on a series of three books, hopefully they will make the other two. But I don't know if it did well enough for them to make the other ones.

And what do you think? :)

The great escape.

As their owner Andy prepares to depart for college, his loyal toys find themselves in daycare where untamed tots with their sticky little fingers do not play nice. So, it's all for one and one for all as they join Barbie's counterpart Ken, a thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants and a pink, strawberry-scented teddy bear called Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear to plan their great escape. Starring: Tom Hanks, Tim Allen
Released: 2010

Megan's Movie Review:
This was another movie that when I saw the preview for, I didn't want to see because I was like COME ON!! NOT A THIRD MOVIE! Can't they make different movies?! But I ended up loving it quite a lot. I did not cry though. Everyone told me that they balled their eyes out. Seriously? It's just a toy. Haha.. So ironic how I say that. But no, for real, it was sad at those moments in the movie, but it was not ball your eyes out sad. I really liked it though. It had a great ending and this is something that I want part of my collection too.

Megan's Movie Review:
Another animation film that was a success. I loved it! This is a perfect movie for kids and I want this as part of my collection for my children later in life. (Hopefully they will like it). Steve Carrell is awesome in this and very hilarious with his accent. I loved the little creatures called the minions. (I think that is how you spell it). Yes, there were some little kid moments where it almost seemed like it would be too childish for me, but it was pretty good. I love the minions though. Loved them! And if you have the 2 disc set, it comes with three mini movies, YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE BANANA ONE!! One of my most favorite short films ever now.

Megan's Movie Review:
Surprisingly I liked this movie rather a lot. When I saw that this was coming out, I couldn't believe it and I didn't want to see it. I loved the first one and that will always be the best one. The second one wasn't too bad, but the third one I wasn't that impressed with. Yes, they are funny, but seriously 3 movies? So then when this movie came out, as the 4th movie, I didn't want to see it. But we rented it and as a matter of fact, I like this one second best. It was really funny, and had a good story. I truly enjoyed it a lot. I do want this as part of my collection. It was good and definitely worth seeing, even if you are sick of the other Shrek movies.

The meltdown.

That is, until he miraculously finds Ellie, the only female mammoth left in the world. Their only problems: They can't stand each other--and Ellie somehow thinks she's a possum! Ellie comes with some excess baggage in the form of her two possum "brothers"-- Crash and Eddie, a couple of daredevil pranksters and cocky, loud-mouthed troublemakers. The only chance of survival lies at the other end of the valley... (Source: IMDB)

Megan's Movie Review:
Now, nothing beats the very first Ice Age. This was pretty good though. When I saw this in the theaters, I remember thinking it was so hilariously funny! Now, I find it pretty funny, but nothing extreme. The possums are pretty funny, but Scrat (the squirrel-thing) is the best character. Well.. I do love Sid the sloth too. One of my favorite parts was the 'fire-king' part. :) Super funny! This had a cute story to it and I appreciate how it has good morals to the story.

Who agrees?

Released: 2010

Megan's Movie Review:
To be honest, I wanted to see this movie but I didn't really want to see it in theaters. My husband, on the other hand, wanted to see this in theaters, so we saw it the opening weekend. And to my surprise, I really liked it more than I thought I would. Will Ferrell has such a hilarious voice and he did a great job as the alien. I also couldn't picture Brad Pitt in an animation film, but it worked good. It was a funny movie!! There were two favorite parts in the movie that I loved. The "forget-me" stick (you'll have to watch the movie to understand) and when Will Ferrell says, "Back you savages!!". Soo funny! This was a really cute story and you couldn't help but fall in the love with the blue guy. I definitely recommend it and kids would enjoy this movie for sure.

Megan's Movie Review:
This was better than I thought it would be. I actually was unsure about even renting this movie because I thought it would be too little kiddish for me. The movie was actually pretty funny and cute. I really liked the main character, he was cute for being a nerd haha! This is something I would recommend to families with kids and even the parents would enjoy it too. The only thing is that it made me feel more sick to my stomach because I'm pregnant and I couldn't stand watching all the nasty food fall out of the sky. I just had to ignore it and not think about the food so literally.

Megan's Movie Review:
LOVED. I loved this movie! I really love all animation films, well.. most of them. I shouldn't say all. This was so cute and funny! After the movie, I wanted my own black dragon. :) It had some very hilarious parts in the movie that keeps you entertained. I liked how the dragons all had their own personal image to our world now-a-days. For instance one of them looked like a parrot, and another looked like a fat catepillar. Which I find funny because they are supposed to be fierce dragons, not fat catepillars. If this doesn't make sense, you need to watch the movie to know what I'm talking about. Overall though, it is one of my favorite movies and I want it when it comes out.

Megan's Movie Review:
Another fun family film! It was pretty funny and my favorite character was Rover who was just the NASA probe. He was so cute! It had a good moral to the story and I would definitely think kids would be entertained by this movie. This would be a good movie to sit down with your family and watch for some family time. I have come to like Dwayne Johnson more and more in movies. He might not be the greatest actor but whenever I see him in an upcoming movie, I look forward to it. I think he is pretty funny and he played the human really well. It's worth a watch!

Megan's Movie Review:
This is definitely one of my FAVORITE movies of all-time!! Some people might disagree, but I don't get it! I really had no idea what this movie was about when we went to go see it in theaters. It was so cute and funny, some parts I couldn't stop giggling in. The dog, Dug, is my favorite character. He reminds me of my dog and does the exact same things she does. I love the story behind it! I know it is sad at first when Ellie dies because you don't expect it, but what good movie doesn't have something sad in it?? That's what captures your attention and you need to know how he is going to get through this situation. It was super cute, I love it, and I could watch it over and over again!
