It has been several months since The X-Men stopped William Stryker, but that victory came at a price, they have lost Jean Gray when she tried to save them from the collapsed reservoir. Scott Summers (Cyclops) is still grieving about her loss. One day, he came out to the place which is where Jean Gray sacrificed herself. Then, Jean Gray appeared right in front of him. Though, it seemed that after that, Scott had disappeared. Meanwhille, the rift between humans and mutants had finally reached the boiling point. When humans discovered what causes humans to mutate, they have found a cure for the mutation. The X-Men were appalled at this idea. It was not long at all until the news about the cure came to Magneto. He decides to organize an army of mutants and wage his war against the humans. Megan's Movie Review:
I really liked this movie. It was pretty intense and there were some things in this movie that I didn't expect to happen when I first saw it. For instance, *Spoiler* that the Professor died pretty early in the movie, and also Scott. I had never watched the cartoons so I didn't know that Jean was evil or that she was alive. I had hoped that she was alive, but I didn't expect her to turn crazy evil. I felt so bad for Angel when he was a child (the kid with the wings). How sad that he felt like he needed to try and cut off his wings. It was horrible. Maybe I'm more sympathetic towards kids now because I now have a child of my own. I just can't imagine my child having to say sorry for something they can't control. (This is how you know I get way too into my movies lol). Wolverine is my favorite, of course, but I really liked Beast. He was awesome and super cool! So at the end of the movie, do you think that Magneto still had his powers or that they were coming back to him? I kind of think that the cure eventually wears off and that they can get their powers back. Like I said, I never watched the cartoons so I have no idea if this even happened in the cartoons. The fight scenes in the movie were great and I loved the battle at the end. Very good movie.

Megan's Movie Review:
I really liked this movie a lot! It is a great movie for children and it has lots of imagination. The book was a fun book to read and I was really excited when this was going to come out. Like I said, it has a lot of imagination and it seems very different from the other movies. My husband doesn't like the other Chronicles of Narnia because he said they just stand around and talk/argue too much. But this one he actually liked because he said they were actually doing something, and there were so many fun things going on. The only thing I don't like about the movie is Lucy... The actress Georgie Henley just bothers me. I don't think she is a great actress. She was cute in the first movie and I know you that you should stick with the same actress throughout the movies but I really don't like her. And Susan too. Anyways, I really liked Will Poulter in this movie as Eustace. I think he played a great Eustace because in the book he is supposed to be truly annoying. He played his part well and I loved it. The end of the movie is one of my favorite parts. I love the Christian symbolism it has in this and in all the books & movies. It's fantastic and I would totally recommend this to families.

I just read the book for the first time and lets say it made me love this story even more. I had never read the book before I saw the movie, and so when I saw this movie I loved it. I think it has a great story and I truly enjoyed it. I especially loved the romance between Kate Barlow and Sam. :) Haha.. Of course I do! I love any kind of romance even when it's cheesy. "I can fix that." Love that part in the movie!!! So sweet! Anyways, this movie was great, and the story was awesome. It also followed the book extremely well and the reason is because the author wrote the screenplay for the movie! Incredible.. I appreciated how this movie that good things will happen to you if you are honest. It just might take some time or test your patience, but it will happen.

I forgot how much I loved the last movie. The ending was great, it seems cheesy but its really the perfect ending. The big battle/war scene is awesome! Legolas is so cool for bringing down that giant elephant. It was longer than I remember and I didn't even watch the director's cut. Has anyone seen those ones? Well its a great movie even if it is the theatrical version. Love these movies, can't say it enough. I don't care how long they are, they are fantastic movies. Someday I will read the books.

Again, I love these movies! The battle scenes are awesome in this movie, especially at the end. I also appreciate how they add in some 'comical relief'. The elf and the dwarf always competing is quite hilarious. Graphics are great in this movie. This story is awesome. You feel bad for Aragorn because he left his beloved elf but don't worry.. Everything's going to be okay. Gollum is quite an ugly creature though. He scares me and is very creepy. You do pity him in the middle of the movie, but then by the end, you just know that the evil can't be taken out of him. I was also happy when Gandalf came back into the story. He is such a great character and actor that it wouldn't be the same without him.

Megan's Movie Review:
I looooove these movies! I know they can be kind of weird with all the fantasy creatures in them, but I thought the director, Peter Jackson, did a fantastic job on these movies. I have never read the books, although I did start the first one and there is quite a few things that are different, but the storyline is basically the same. These books are so detailed it would be too hard to include everything into the movie. The graphics were fantastic on these movies! One of the greatest things about these movies are their battle scenes. They aren't short either. But they aren't too long to where I'm wondering when they will end. This movie keeps me interested the whole time. Good vs. Evil. I love Sam! He is my favorite hobbit and the most kind too. These movies were just very impressive and I loved all the characters!

Megan's Movie Review:
Well this movie wasn't what I expected. I thought from the previews that you would be able to tell what happens in the movie, and I was wrong. I thought, this little owl has these heroes that he admires, and he would eventually find them and they would be evil and ruin his whole perspective on them. That's not the case. It is such a cute story and I really liked it and want it for my children to watch. The story was great and it had a little twist that I didn't expect. The owls were so cute I wanted them for myself. This story was good for children because it taught them to have dreams and to not doubt yourself. It also teaches them to love their family no matter what and to fight for your family. I really liked it, good movie! I know this is based on a series of three books, hopefully they will make the other two. But I don't know if it did well enough for them to make the other ones.

Well, this movie was better than average, but only slightly. It was really more of childrens movie for like ages 6-12. The storyline was interesting but it didn't end to great. They left it open for sequel but I don't think this movie did well enough for a sequel to be made. Maybe it will, I don't know. Also, this was not M. Night Shyamalan's kind of movie. The acting wasn't that great either and it was weird to see Jackson Rathbone in this movie because he plays Jasper in the Twilight series. The girl actress bothered me. She was not a very good actress. But I did like the story, it was interesting and kind of cool.

The A-Team

Four American soldiers who are in Iraq are sent on a mission to recover plates for printing 100 dollar bills that were used to print a billion dollars. After doing the job and returning to the base their commanding officer is killed in an explosion and the plates are stolen by another operative. They would be court martialed and sent to different prisons. 6 months later, the leader, Hannibal Smith is visited by a CIA spook who tells him he knows where the man who took the plates is and wants him and his men to recover it. So he helps him escape and he breaks out the others and they go after the plates. But after doing it, they discover that the spook might not be ok. And a military intelligence officer who was involved with one of them is pursuing them. (Source: IMDB)

This was a good action film. I really enjoyed it and it was pretty funny. It wasn't too over the top like The Losers. Yes there were some unrealistic action scenes in here, but that is what makes it entertaining. And what action film doesn't have something in it that is so far-fetched. Bradley Cooper was kind of funny, but I didn't like how he was obsessed with sex. It just seems trashy to me. I did like the crazy guy (I can't remember his name), he was cool. Good, fun, and very entertaining.

This was another movie that when I saw the preview for, I didn't want to see because I was like COME ON!! NOT A THIRD MOVIE! Can't they make different movies?! But I ended up loving it quite a lot. I did not cry though. Everyone told me that they balled their eyes out. Seriously? It's just a toy. Haha.. So ironic how I say that. But no, for real, it was sad at those moments in the movie, but it was not ball your eyes out sad. I really liked it though. It had a great ending and this is something that I want part of my collection too.

Surprisingly I liked this movie rather a lot. When I saw that this was coming out, I couldn't believe it and I didn't want to see it. I loved the first one and that will always be the best one. The second one wasn't too bad, but the third one I wasn't that impressed with. Yes, they are funny, but seriously 3 movies? So then when this movie came out, as the 4th movie, I didn't want to see it. But we rented it and as a matter of fact, I like this one second best. It was really funny, and had a good story. I truly enjoyed it a lot. I do want this as part of my collection. It was good and definitely worth seeing, even if you are sick of the other Shrek movies.

This was a fabulous movie! I truly enjoyed this movie and it was such a great action/romance film. I love both of these actors and think that they are great. I loved how Tom Cruise was so calm about being a spy yet he was so cool in his fighting. But he was always chill about it even if he just killed a bunch of people. It was a great movie. I loved it and I definitely want it.

This was an average movie. To be honest it didn't look like it would be that cool when I saw the preview. Well it looked like it had some potential but then it could be really cheesy and stupid. Plus, Nicolas Cage has been filming in some really lame movies lately. But it wasn't terrible. I was entertained by it, the storyline was pretty childish to me. It also seemed like it had so much detail behind the story that it would skip through it really fast. Is this a book? Because if it is, I can understand why they would not explain everything. I really like the actor Jay Baruchel. He is hilarious! One of the funniest parts of the whole movie was when he made the mops come to life. It was like Fantasia all over again (which is what they were going for) and it was great, super funny.

Okay, I liked this story and it is great, but I don't like the old style movie. I remember watching this a lot when I was younger and it definitely entertained me, but these older movies need to be re-made because they would be sooooo awesome if they were. The acting is terrible in this, except for Harrison Ford. He is great! But I can't stand Luke and Princess Leia. And the fighting is so corny. Still, it is a good movie and it still entertains you.

Star Wars Episode 3 : Revenge of the Sith

This is my favorite Star Wars movie. I love the fight scene at the end but it's also so sad because he hurts his girl! And she dies... and the babies have to be split up. But it is so good and I think it has such a great story with Anakin going bad and following the Sith. The graphics are fabulous and it almost makes you wish that it was real. I would love to have a light saber. :)

Again, I like these newer Star Wars movies better than the old ones. They are so much better with all the new technology and it makes it seem realistic. I love the story. It's so sad because you know who Anakin will become. Yoda had a cool fight scene in this movie that was awesome! Good movie. I also really like Hayden Christensen as Anakin. He was a good actor and he seems so young in this movie.

I remember when this movie came out, it was awesome! I think the newer movies of star wars are sooo much better than the old ones. The old ones have a good story but I enjoy the technology of the new movies. The graphics are a lot better and it makes it actually seem real. The best part of the movie is the racing scene. I love star wars. I love how creative everything is. It was truly a good movie. The light saber fights were pretty awesome too. Much better than the old ones and its because they actually look like they are fighting in these.

When Kevin's Family Left For Vacation, They Forgot One Minor Detail: Kevin. But Don't Worry... He Cooks. He Cleans. He Kicks Some Butt.

It is Christmas Time and the McAllister family is preparing for a vacation in Paris, France. But, the youngest in the family named Kevin got into a scuffle with his older brother Buzz and was sent to his room which is on the third floor of his house. Then, the next morning, while the rest of the family were in a rush to make it to the airport on time, they completely forgot about Kevin who now has the house all to himself. Being home alone was fun for Kevin, having a pizza all to himself, jumping on his parents' bed and making a mess. Then, Kevin discovers about 2 burglars, Harry and Marv about to rob his house on Christmas eve. Kevin acts quickly by wiring his own house with makeshift booby traps to stop the burglars and to bring them to justice. (Source: IMDB)

This is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies! I remember watching this so much when I was a kid. Now this isn't the greatest movie ever but it sure is enjoyable. It is pretty cheesy and corny but that's okay. It is funny and entertaining and you can't help but love this movie when you are a kid. You want to be like him and "kick butt". But.. don't become like him in real life, he is a punk..that's a different story. I did feel though that at the beginning of this movie, everyone was mean to him and even his uncle, like when he called him a little jerk. No way.. I wouldn't allow someone else to call my son that. Anyways, good movie for Christmas.

Megan's Movie Review: This was a good movie and I really liked watching it. We saw it in 3-D and I wouldn't recommend it. Most of the movie wasn't in 3-D and even when it was, I wasn't impressed. I did love the racing scenes in this movie. I wished there were more because I felt that was the coolest part of the whole movie. This new actor, Garrett Hedlund, was actually pretty good. I liked him in this. It was kind of weird to see Jeff Bridges all computerized but it was only because they had to make him look younger. The machines in this movie were awesome and so neat looking. I liked how when they would race or drive they had a "line" follow them. I don't know what they are called (can't remember). Good movie, I want this as part of my collection.

Megan's Movie Review:
Okay. I am a Harry Potter nut. I LOVE the books and I truly have enjoyed the movies. The 6th movie was great but it didn't get a 5 star because it left out the fight scene at the end. This movie didn't get a 5 star because it was sort of slow. But if you have read the books you would understand that Part 1 of the Deathly Hallows wasn't going to be too fast-paced. The 2nd movie will be great because it will be the ending and it will have great fight scenes. One of my favorite parts in this movie was when they were in the Ministry. It was great! One thing I did find weird was when Ron left and Harry was trying to cheer Hermione up by dancing with her. That didn't happen in the book and it was just plain weird!! It also made it look like they liked each other. Another thing, I didn't appreciate it how when Ron was going to kill the Horcux in the necklace, that Harry and Hermione were naked and kissing. What the..? Why couldn't they have kept their clothes on. Tell me why the director had to do that? It was stupid. This movie did follow the book extremely well, I was so pleased! Like when Ron and Harry were fighting (and this was right before Ron left) the conversation they had in the movie was almost exact to conversation in the book. I just truly enjoy these movies and the story. It is fabulous.
