Stars:

Starring: Amanda Seyfried, Christopher Egan
Released: 2010

Megan's Movie Review:
This is your typical comedy/romance film. But that's why girls love them right? I really liked this movie! I have seen Christopher Egan on the movie Eragon (which was a terrible movie compared to the book) and I really didn't have much of an opinion on his acting then. He did good in this movie and I really thought he was charming and kind of funny. One thing that bothered me was the way he walks. He looks weird.. I know that is terrible to say but it bugged me! Amanda Seyfried was good too but she did seem a little too sad or upset all the time. The ending was awfully corny but nonetheless cute. I did like the whole storyline about the old lady finding her true love. It was so sweet!

Tooth Fairy

Stars:
3 stars

The tooth hurts.

Derek Thompson is 'The Tooth Fairy,' a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's hopes, he's sentenced to one week's hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth" - bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes...doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams. (Source: IMDB)

Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Judd
Released: 2010

Megan's Movie Review:
I thought this would have been a little bit funnier, but it was just average. It is a good kid's movie and family film. It does have some funny parts but it isn't the greatest movie. We really like Dwayne Johnson and so whenever he comes out in anything, we want to see it. His friend in this movie was pretty funny. It was a enjoyable movie but nothing I have to have in my DVD collection. Good family film night.

Starring: Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber
Released: 2009

Megan's Movie Review:
I will be honest, at first when I saw this in theaters, I only thought it was okay. It is actually now that I watch it over and over again, that I love it even more! This movie completely surpasses the other X-Men movies. I do love those ones, but this was so much better! Hugh Jackman is the perfect Wolverine and is so freakin cool. One of my favorite characters in this movie, was Remy LeBeau or aka Gambit. I wish he would've had a bigger role in this movie and I would like to see him in other X-Men movies. The poker scene was awesome with Gambit. Ryan Reynolds is also in this movie and is hilarious as usual. This movie was action-packed and very entertaining. I was never bored and I truly love this movie. I'm not even sure why I didn't like this movie in the beginning. I think it is because I was so stuck on the old X-Men movies, I didn't want this one to be better.

Any Wolverine fans?

Starring: Amanda Bynes, Channing Tatum
Released: 2006

Megan's Movie Review:
One of my personal favorite movies!! Some people don't like Amanda Bynes, but I think she is hilarious! Her facial expressions during this movie were so funny. She is soo good at acting like an idiot and not being embarrassed. At the end, it was pretty corny, and she is better at being comical than playing a serious role. This movie was great though, and it was funny! Since it is a teenager comedy, I thought there might have been some more talk or jokes about sex, but there wasn't. This is something worth watching if you want to just sit and enjoy a good comical movie.

Enchanted

Stars:
3 1/2 stars

The real world and the animated world collide.

The beautiful princess Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid - even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home - she has to wonder: Can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world? (Source: IMDB)

Starring: Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey
Released: 2007
Megan's Movie Review:
I have heard comments that people didn't like this movie because Amy Adams was 'too much for them'. Wasn't that the point?! She played her part amazingly!! She actually acted like she was a cartoon princess brought into the real world. I loved how when she would walk, she swayed from side to side, and would sing over anything. It was funny! Amy Adams did a fantastic job on her acting in this one because I know I wouldn't have been able to have acted as she did. This was a cute movie, kind of predictable, but enjoyable. And it was also the typical fairy tale movie you want to see because everything ended like it should have. And they lived happily ever after!

Any princesses (or princes) disagree with me?

Starring: Zac Efron, Leslie Mann, Thomas Lenon, Matthew Perry
Released: 2009

Megan's Movie Review:
This is definitely one of my favorite movies! I thought Zac Efron was actually a pretty good actor. Who would've known? And I was glad to see he could at least shoot a basketball and dribble right. It kills me when people who can't play a sport, try to pretend like they can in a movie, and it looks horrible. His best friend in the movie, Thomas Lenon, also did a great job. He was one of my favorite characters because of how hilarious he was. This may have been a predictable movie, but it was good and had good morals to the story. Family comes first and they are always the most important people in your life. It did have some cheesy moments in this movie, and moments where you just want to cringe, but all around it was good.

Megan's Movie Review:
I had heard mixed reviews from people about this movie. So I was rather curious to watch it and see if I liked or disliked this movie. Well.. I liked this movie! I thought it was cute and funny. Very typical romance film, and it did have some parts in it that I wouldn't recommend for kids. But this wasn't a terrible movie like some people had told me it was. One major thing I did like about this movie was that it didn't consist of them constantly fighting and then at the end of the movie, they were all of a sudden in love again. The couple did fight a little in this movie, but not the serious fighting, more of the comedy fighting. They also had some cute moments together where they talked and started to understand each other. You got to see how their relationship grew back together. It wasn't like one day they hated each other and then they all of a sudden were in love again. It was good! Not sure how people disliked this movie.

Clash of the Titans

Stars:
2 3/4 stars
The clash begins on 2.24.10

Starring: Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton
Released: 2010

Megan's Movie Review:
I was really looking forward to this movie until I heard from some friends on Facebook that it was dumb. My husband saw this movie before I did and he said he really liked it. So.. I watched this with an open mind, and I thought it was way too corny. It just seemed like they tried to hard to make this movie look soo cool and mind-blowing. (It wasn't). It also just jumped from random thing, to random thing. It went too fast and never seemed to slow down. Sometimes you want the movie to slow down for a bit, but it was problem after problem. Gemma Arterton really bothered me too. She seemed too overly dramatic in her acting. It could've been cool. Maybe I would like it more if I watched it again. Sometimes that happens to me where I don't like the movie at first and watch it the second time, and I don't understand why I disliked it so much in the beginning. I really like Sam Worthington but this movie was dumb. I am surprised I didn't like this movie though because this seems to be right up my alley of movies that I like.

Any Clash of the Titans fans? or no fans?
