Enchanted

Stars:
3 1/2 stars

The real world and the animated world collide.

The beautiful princess Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid - even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince back home - she has to wonder: Can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world? Megan's Movie Review:
I have heard comments that people didn't like this movie because Amy Adams was 'too much for them'. Wasn't that the point?! She played her part amazingly!! She actually acted like she was a cartoon princess brought into the real world. I loved how when she would walk, she swayed from side to side, and would sing over anything. It was funny! Amy Adams did a fantastic job on her acting in this one because I know I wouldn't have been able to have acted as she did. This was a cute movie, kind of predictable, but enjoyable. And it was also the typical fairy tale movie you want to see because everything ended like it should have. And they lived happily ever after!

Any princesses (or princes) disagree with me?
