Inception

Star Rating:
5 stars!!
(You have to see this in theaters!)

Your mind is the scene of the crime.

Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. (Source: IMDB)

Megan's Movie Review:
INSANE!!! This movie was freakin sick! From the previews, I thought it looked incredible, and it still exceeded my expections. This movie was so mind-blowing and it made you think and put the puzzle pieces together so you could figure out what was happening. Even still, I should probably go see it again to understand it all. The effects were awesome! My favorite part of the movie (and this is also my husband's) was when Joseph Gordo-Levitt was fighting this guy but the whole room was twisting and turning, and he was having to run up and down the walls. If you haven't seen it, you won't understand this yet. This movie is definitely a movie you HAVE to see in theaters! It should not be seen on a small television. That would be a crime.. I would also like to agree with my friend Mike (mewalker.blogspot.com) who said that Christopher Nolan has created another epic movie. There was nothing like this movie and I feel like it is one of those one-of-a-kind-amazing movies you see once in a while. Tons of action in this movie, you never get bored, and it doesn't seem long at all. You are honestly so intrigued by this you can't keep your eyes off of it. And can anyone tell me what they think of the ending?! I'm not sure what to believe. I would hope it wasn't a dream. I can't wait to have this movie as part of my collection.

Please tell me you loved it!

Megan's Movie Review:
I thought this was just as good as the second, maybe a little bit better. Kristen's acting was about the same to me, but I thought Robert Pattinson did better. I appreciated how he smiled more in this movie! For some odd reason, in the other movies, I don't know if it is the director tells him not too, but he doesn't smile as much. In this movie, I saw some smiles and it just made it so much better. In the book, Edward always kind of had this grin on his face and teasing Bella all the time, and I had wished Robert Pattinson would've smiled more in the other movies. I actually am not a Jacob fan, and I really did not like the third book, but this movie was good. I appreciated how they didn't go into too much detail about the whole Bella and Jacob thing. It drove me crazy how in the book she was so confused in her thinking and always ditching Edward. But it wasn't too bad in this movie. They also did a pretty good job on the whole fight scene at the end. I liked it. One thing about this movie, it did seem a little slow for me, but that is how the book was too. And how come Edward always seems to get his butt kicked in these movies?! That is not how it was in the books! Edward could read their thoughts and knew exactly how they would attack him. In New Moon, he got his butt whooped by the Volturi at the end. I did not approve. And in this one, he also struggled to kill Victoria (which did not happen in the book). Other than that, it was average, and decent. I'm VERY excited for the Breaking Dawn to come out. That was my favorite book!

Megan's Movie Review:
I loved this movie! I want it! They were such a cute couple in this movie and it was hilarious. I was kind of worried that in the previews it might have shown all the funny parts and so the movie wouldn't be as funny, but it was. I didn't realize that the guy from Napoleon Dynamite (Jon Heder) was in this movie. There was such a good comedy/romance story to this and it was just so good! There were so many hilarious actors in this that I recognized and enjoyed watching, it was a great/cute/fun movie and I would recommend this!

Megan's Movie Review:
This was a cute comedy romance movie. To be honest I thought it would be a little bit more funny. I also thought that they would get to know each other a little bit more instead of all their fighting. But there were some really cute parts in the movie and the ending was good. Amy Adams is so cute and I love to watch any movie that she is in. I really don't have much else to say on this one except that it was your typical cute romance. It was a good ending and I would recommend this to anyone who likes these kind of movies.

Megan's Movie Review:
My husband and I decided that this is a 5 star movie! It was so good and so inspiring, it made me want to be this good of a person all the time! Not that I don't want to anyways. But I think another cool part of this story was that it was based on a true story. This woman was amazing and to have the heart that she did is pretty neat. I loved how she did so much for him and ended up adopting him into their family. She really was amazing, and this boy had a future because of their family. Sandra Bullock was of course, awesome! I really love all of her movies.

I'm sure someone agrees with me.. let me know :)

Megan's Movie Rating:
This is your typical end of the world kind of movie. It was okay. Not the best movie, but it wasn't the worst movie. It was entertaining and kept you wanting to know how are they going to live (because you know they will survive). And of course, some of the parts were pretty corny and unrealistic but that sometimes can make a movie just a little bit better.

When a serial killer indicates that his next target is the Miss United States beauty pageant, the F.B.I. decides that they must get an undercover agent as a participant in the contest. She enters as Miss New Jersey, replacing a contestant who was discovered to have acted in a porno film. The pageant managers are immediately aghast about the agent appearing in the pageant, but arrange a top handler to come give her a quick makeover, with the expected outstanding results. Unfortunately, she still is bumbling. When the killer is suddenly caught, everything seems to be over, except the female agent tries to convince her boss that something is still not right. Megan's Movie Review:
I loved this movie! I really like Sandra Bullock, she is my favorite actress definitely! I just enjoyed how this movie was so funny and entertaining. Sandra was hilarious playing this role as a 'tom-boy'. I loved the attitude that she put into her character and all around it was just a good funny movie! I haven't seen another movie like it yet.

Any comments?

Megan's Movie Review:
This is another movie I was not sure what it was really about and it surprised me with the story. I really love this director M. Night Shyamalan. He always has such interesting movies. I loved The Village and Signs. This movie was just as interesting. It seems like it would be freaky, but its not. It has a few frightening parts. It is not fast paced but the story line is entertaining. But personally this would be a scary/weird bedtime story to tell your children. Apparently, if you watch some of the bonus features where M. Night Shyamalan talks about how this movie came about, it was a story he started telling his children. But other than that, I really liked Mr. Heep and the chinese girl. She was so cute and funny in her own little way and she reminded me a little bit (because of her hair sometimes) of Rufio from the movie Hook (haha). I really liked this movie. It's different for sure though.

Am I crazy to like this strange odd movie?! :)

Megan's Movie Review:
I had never seen a preview for this movie but when I was dating my now husband at the time, he told me it was a good movie. We watched it and I ended up really liking it! This movie wasn't what I expected it to be, and I believe that is what made it is so good. I like how you don't really understand what is going on at first and piece by piece it comes together, and then you have to keep watching it because you need to know how they are ever going to get out of this mess. I also really like Ewan McGregor as an actor. As a side note, one of my favorite movies he has done is Big Fish. One of my all time favorite movies. Anyways, this is a good action packed movie that keeps you wanting to know what will happen next. The storyline is in the future so it is a little sci-fi but I don't mind those kind of movies. For someone like me who doesn't have much of an imagination, I like movies like this where it can think of weird interesting things like this for you.

Good movie... has anyone else seen this?
